Crochet - From the Ground Up - 2/17/25

Don't be intimidated by crochet! This 4-week course is to introduce the basics of crochet. If you've never touched a hook before, this class will guide you through the foundational concepts of crochet. Basic stitches and stitch formations will result in two simple projects. Week 1: How to hold the hook and yarn Foundation stitches - chain, single crochet, and slip stitch Week 2: Working in rows Counting stitches Making square/rectangular fabric Week 3: More stitches - Half Double and Double Practice with hook and yarn sizes Mini-project: Washcloth or hat Week 4: Height and Drape Final stitch - Treble Mini-project: Scarf Currently we are taking 5 students this time for this class, ages 14 and up. There is a 2 person minimum before a class will be scheduled for this time slot. NOTE: Since we charge a credit card processing fee the moment you pay, there will be a $7 cancellation fee, should you need to cancel before the 1st day of the course starting. After that, the cost of the course is not refundable, but we can apply it to a future course or you can transfer it to a friend or family member.
