Pottery Wheel Friends Night

Have you see Ghost or Great Pottery Thrown Down and always been entrigued?  Well now's your chance to get centered!  Yada Yada Pottery is creating special event night just for you and 6 of your friends, to learn how the throw pottery on the wheel.  Since it is not really possible to finish a whole piece all in one sitting, we will do this in a progressive manner so that you are working on different pieces at various stages so that you get the experience of what to do, but not have the waiting time it normally takes to finish one piece from scratch. (normally two weeks).  This event will also include casual dinner and drink options from Serendipity Brews!  We'll send you the menu after registration and closer to the event.  We'll dine first, then I'll give a presentation to go over what is involved with making pottery, and then I'll do a live demo for you.  Then it's your turn!  You get to experience throwing, triming, and glazing!  Then you can pick out a already finished piece that has been created by others just like you, or you can pick up the piece that you glazed in about a week after the event.  I will warn you though, this is hard, but it is also so much fun that you are likely to get addicted!  Don't worry though, we teach 6 wk beginner classes and beyond!  Come join us and this amazing creative community.
